THE ARCHITECTURE AND THE FOODS IN JAPANESE STYLE

SPRING (ATER PLANTING RICE SEEDLINGS)
SPRING (ATER PLANTING RICE SEEDLINGS)

How about having an experience  staying  at a traditional Japanese style accommodation? “Chiya Outdoor-House” is the one.

No sooner you check in, than you feel relaxed by a cup of Japanese green tea.  After that, you enjoy taking public bath (hot spring) , which is called “onsen”.  It takes to go there 2 minutes by car.

SUMMER (DROOPING EARS OF RICE)

After coming back here, you have dinner at an “irori” (a Japanese style fireplace).  We serve deliciouse Japanese beef grilled on the “irori”. We call the way of cooking “sumibiyaki”, that is one of traditional Japanese cooking styles. You can also taste some kinds of other local home cooking as side dishes.

You sleep on a “futon” (a Japanese bed).

AUTUMN (RED LEEVES & PERSIMMONS)

In the next morning, you have breakfast by the fireside again. Steamed rice, smoked fishes, miso soup and Japanease pickles are on the menu for breakfast.

It costs ¥8800 to stay at our inn per person for one night, ¥5,400 per one child. It includes room b charge, dinner, breakfast and tax. Drinks and hot spring are extra cost. Minimum 2 persons are required to stay.

It is most convinient to come here by car. It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Niimi Interchange. See a"交通方法”page.
